Protect & Sustain.

Our aim is to keep trails and backroads open and to add more single track in the Elk Valley. We care about land advocacy and work tirelessly to keep areas accessible and secure land stewardship as they are constantly under threat of being taken.

We strive to bridge the gap and create a greater respect and collaboration between our members and the local communities. By becoming a member you are representing your sport.

Collectively we will gain a stronger voice providing greater leverage and a better chance of accessing available funding through grants. This is the only way forward.

Our Story

In 2019, the Koocanusa Recreation Steering Committee (KRSC), with the support of Recreation Sites and Trails BC (RSTBC), had selected a sustainable network of single track and double track trails at Koocanusa, the Dorr/Grasmere Motorized Trail Network. To become sanctioned and protected, the trail users had to step up: a registered organization had to volunteer to enter a partnership with RSTBC and become custodians of the trails. Throughout the many years of riders coming to the area this was never formally done and the EVADRS team of volunteers stepped up to the task at hand. It is now up to EVADRS to gain momentum through the support of it’s members to keep the trails open. JOIN US. By sharing our passion for two wheel travel we hope to expand our adventure riding resources and information to all our fellow back roads enthusiasts. We aim to promote and share the endless, impressive backcountry that is out there waiting to be ridden.
