  • Koocanusa has nearly 70km of SANCTIONED singletracks for motorcycles. Check our map to locate the two staging areas and the tracks.

    Beware, there’s also a “mountain bike ONLY” network of trails in the north end of the area, north of Dorr road. This area is along the steep section over the Elk river valley. Please respect their area by staying out of it with your motorized toys.

  • Our official map is available in digital format. It can be installed on your phone, or on your GPS.

  • Technically, no.

    But consider buying a MEMBERSHIP or making a DONATION.

    EVADRS is non-profit organization, and we have been protecting and supporting motorized riding in the area. We also maintain the trails and the staging areas.

  • There’s a few places.

    Western Pine Recreation Site. This is free camping and a great staging area.

    There also the Grasmere Recreation site, with access to our trails.

    These have NO SERVICES. No water, no picnic table or even bathrooms… Please bring your own supplies and leave nothing behind.

    There’s also the Loon lake Recreation site and the Edwards Lake Recreation site, but you should NOT ride your ATV/motorcycle in these campgrounds.

  • Contact the Elk Valley ATV Club. They know better.

    For the Koocanusa area, you can also check our map in the ADV section. The pale Yellow tracks are all quad friendly.

    EVADRS takes care of the trails and we do signage and protect riding access, but we do not organize rides…

    Except that we hold an event in early September every year called “The Great Escape”, where lots of riding folks are getting together to enjoy the sport in our area.
