The Trails

Located in the Elk Valley, Koocanusa has long been known for it’s network of flowy, fun singletrack dirt bike trails that wind through woodlands & fields with rocky sections & some intermittent steeper sections. Currently there is about 65km of designated singletrack, which is mapped & marked with signage. Riding off existing routes is prohibited & will result in us losing the trails we have fought so hard to keep. We ask that you respect that. These trails are suitable for lower intermediate upwards with some 4x4 tracks connecting the singletrack trails. There are lots of sections that beginners can enjoy and Gracie’s Loop for kids to ride.

Keeping Our Singletrack

At this time there are no fees or trail pass requirements but we strongly request that all users show support by purchasing a membership.

Taking care of our trails and growing our trail network requires keen VOLUNTEERS. In the future we hope to be able to rely on riders who come to the area to get their hands dirty upon occasion, as well as volunteers who prefer to be more administrative focused and become future board members. Please sign up for volunteer positions when we post them in the near future, it not only improves and maintains trails but improves our community. Please Contact Us about volunteering.

We need YOU.

By purchasing an annual membership you’re supporting riding in the area, now and for generations to come.
