Great Escape 2025
The Great Escape Adventure Weekend is back for 2025. The weekend will be spent exploring some of the magnificent backroads in the Elk Valley area with like-minded adventure riders. Friday night will be a Meet & Greet with food and drinks at a local historical downtown location in Fernie. Saturday and Sunday will be spent touring selected GPS routes. Saturday evening EVADRS will host a BBQ & Social with raffle prizes. All riders will receive a Great Escape t-shirt and buff.

Join us on the Friday evening for a Meet & Greet, sign waivers, check out the GPS routes and descriptions. Drinks & food available for purchase with live music on the patio in historical downtown Fernie.
On the Saturday morning breakfast snacks and GPS routes will be provided prior to a full day of riding, either with your own group or join up with a group and a ride leader. Rides are between 4 - 6 hours, approximately 250km. There will be NO FUEL points so carry extra fuel if necessary. Come prepared with tools, lunch, water, suitable mountain clothing.
On Saturday night, we get together for BBQ & SOCIAL, enjoy some great food, socialising and prize giving for the fundraiser raffle.
On the Sunday, for the riders who want to venture out again, we’ll meet for snacks and select some shorter routes for the day.
